Hi! My name is Rachael, and I am just a person who wanted to write a blog. I saw all of the other amazing women expressing themselves via blog and wanted to give it a go…and I LOVE it! I really enjoy writing and am currently working on a series of children’s books as well as a book for young adults but in my busy, crazy, hectic life of work / marriage / mommyhood and everything that goes along with that, it’s hard to do a deep dive into my writing. Blogging provides an excellent alternative outlet for me. Plus, it give me a chance to share some of my moments with others and have them share back! Interaction that is often few and far apart at this stage in my life – most likely because of my age, the fact that I’m kid/family focused right now and I’m not native to the area in which I currently reside (PDX).

UPDATE: The DH issue…for the record – DH stands for “Dear Husband” – not Dick Head or Dummy Head or Doodoo Head or any other variation on the acronym. At least, most of the time….mwah ah ah ah…love you sweetie!

UPDATE: I recently attended BlogHer 09 and realized that many of my “tweeps” and peeps didn’t know what I do for a living. Well, those of you that I met at the conference are now aware that I do PR for a certain company. This blog however, and the relationships created herein, are in NO WAY connected to my work for that company. This is my own, personal blog and will remain so. If I ever talk  to you from a PR perspective, you will know that it’s for work and I will make that very, very clear. Just FYI. : )
